<br />8 <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br />FOR WATER QUALITY MONITORING/REPORTING <br />CONSULTING SERVICES <br /> <br />[SCOTT CRESSEY - CONSULTANT] <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this \..~ day of~ 2003, by <br /> <br />and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corporation <br /> <br />of the State of California ("City"), and SCOTT CRESSEY ("Consultant") (collectively, the <br /> <br />"Parties"). <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City proposes to management and maintain water quality of the <br /> <br />Redwood Shores Lagoon in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional for <br /> <br />Water Quality Monitoring and Reporting Services, and preparation of updates to the <br /> <br />Redwood Shores Lagoon Management Plan, as needed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Consultant represents that he possesses the experience, and is <br /> <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. <br /> <br />Consultant shall perform water quality <br /> <br />monitoring and reporting, and related services further described in Exhibit "A" hereof, <br /> <br />attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br /> <br />Consultant for all services performed by Consultant hereunder at the rates shown in <br /> <br />Exhibit "B" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein.
