RM-11 <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRANSFERRING FUNDS <br /> TO CALTRANS FOR SHUTTLE SERVICE FOR <br /> THE PENINSULA COMMUTE SERVICE <br /> <br /> THIS FUND ALLOCATION AGREEMENT is entered into this 30th <br />day of September , 1988, by and between the State of California, <br />acting by and through its Department of Transportation <br />(hereinafter referred to as "Caltrans"), and the City of Redwood <br />City hereinafter referred to as "City"). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS Caltrans is taking steps to inaugurate feeder <br />shuttle service to its Peninsula Commute Service (hereinafter <br />referred to as "CalTrain"), and thereby increase CalTrain <br />revenues and usage on the San Francisco Peninsula; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the City recognizes the importance of CalTrain as an <br />integral part of its transportation infrastructure, and is <br />actively encouraging monetary support for feeder shuttle service <br />to CalTrain from both the public and private sectors; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants <br />herein contained, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> I. Caltrans agrees to provide demonstration feeder shuttle <br />service as mutually agreed to by Caltrans and City, and as <br />described and depicted in Attachment "A" to this Agreement <br /> <br /> <br />
