MJP:mmg ~/07/89 (940/024) <br /> <br /> FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> VETERANS BOULEVARD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT <br /> REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~day of <br />~r~_~ , 1989, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, a municipal corporation of the State of California, <br />hereinafter referred to as "CITY", and KENNEDY/JENKS/CHILTON, <br />Palo Alto, California, hereinafter referred to as "CONSULTANT". <br /> <br /> WI TNES SETH : <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City plans to replace the Veterans Boulevard Bridge <br />at Redwood Creek; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City desires to engage a consultant to perform <br />certain engineering services, including, but not limited to, <br />construction management services for said improvements; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant has represented to City that it is <br />qualified and experienced to perform all of the services referred <br />to in this Agreement; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, <br />agreements, and conditions contained herein, the parties hereto <br />do hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. The scope of work shall include <br />all the necessary and appropriate professional and technical <br />services for construction management detailed in the "Proposal <br />for Construction Management Services for - Veterans Boulevard <br />Bridge Replacement Project, labeled Exhibit "A" attached hereto <br />and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
