Commissioners present: Mrs. Anna Bennett Robb, <br />Jack Poole, Donald Bogie, William Hanley, Clement Baume, <br />Andrew Spinas j Pasco Balzarini, ,Mr. Olson, Red Morton and <br />Audrey Rippe. Absent: Stout and Gold. <br /> <br />Minutes of the regular meeting of Febroary 28, 1951 were <br />approved as mailed. <br /> <br />PERSONAL APPEARANCES: None <br /> <br />Report of Committees: <br />1. Swimming Pool Dedication - William Hanley <br /> <br />The committee has obtained Jr. Charley Davis, <br />President of the California Recreation Society, as <br />the speaker for the dedication ceremony. <br />Invitations are now ready and everything will <br />be in order by May 6th. <br /> <br />C OMM UNI C AT ION S : <br /> <br />1. Junior Chamber of Commerce recommending turfing of <br />Hawes Park #2. <br /> <br />MSC Poole and Hanley - The Park and Recreation Commission go on <br />record as favoring the inclusion of turfing 'and sprln¥llng <br />system for Hawes Park '2 in 1951-~2 budget. <br /> <br />2. Bridge S.t Communi ty Park <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />MSC Hanley and Robb - Make a request to City Manager that the <br />City Building Inspector, Duncan, check the bridge at Community <br />Park. <br /> <br />3. Trees at Hawes Park - Money will be put in Park <br />Department 1951-52 budget. <br /> <br />4. Letter 00 Easter Bowl - Letter to be filed. <br /> <br />5.
