TI ON CO}.naSSION No regular meeting was held in December 1949 , REDWOOD CITY pARK .tì.ND REORWl TION COV~~I5SION Regular Meeting January 24th 1950 The meeting was called to order by acting Ohai~n Donald Bogie at 7:40 p.m. present were: Acting Chairman Donald Bogie, Commissioners Jack Poole, 01 amen t Baume, William Hanley, Ray Weymou t~, l\ndrew Spinas, and lÚ's. S.~: . Mayo. Recreation Director Altred Morton, Park Superintendent Pasco Balzarini, and his assistant Don Holmquist. Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read. Letter from City Engineer Jain was read relative to the request of Supt. of Schools Andrew Spinas tor a red rock area through Community Park in order , that children may get to the John Gill School from Roosevelt Avenue area. .Alfred Morton and Pasco Balzarini were requested to get the costs of this project and report back at the next meeting. 1. Cost of red rock sidewalk. 2. Cost ot relocating bridge across the creek. MSC by Wi1lism Hanley and Jack Poole that the City Council proceed ~ in p~ting patM~ from the Recre~ion ~ildi~ around the outfield of the .,'. baseball field at Community Park. mo by Jack Poole and Mrs. S. S. Mayo that the Chairman appoint two ~~ members from the Recreation Commission to meet with Mr. Rolison and City Ii ~gineer Jain to ~e a wney on the new T~nis Courts. , MSO by Jack Poole and Clement Baume that a letter be sent to Ohai~an Aof the Board of Trustees of the Sequoia High School District asking him to 1~ ~L.'.put the Recreation Oomnission commi ttee on the agenda at their next meet ing. Report from Red Morton on the status of the Yacht Harbor relocation. Request from Morton that the Commission give some thoug1t on the development of the Taft School property. Commission requested Morton and BalzariniLto bring in costs at next Commission meeting. Report on Nicotine Field. Yr. Balzarini stated that Mr. Granger was to report back to Mr. Bogie on the findings. Mr. Bogie said that he would contact Counci~ Granger on this matter.
