Pres~t were <br />Commissioners Catherine Brennan, William anley, Alyn Beals, Gerry <br />Verssen, Maurice Schutz. P~rk Superintendent Pasco Balzarini and <br />Recreation Director Alfred Morton. Beals and Brennan that the minutes of the meeting of July II, <br />1956 be approved as mdled. <br /> <br />Personal Appearances: Mr. Albert Thomas I 1704 Connecticut I.regarding <br />damage to private property near his home, caused by children smoking <br />and carrying Qn in park area full of weeds and dry grass. ' <br /> <br /> <br />M. S. C. Beals and Hanley that the Park and the accesses to the Park <br />be abandoned. A letter to be written to the City Co~cil requesting <br />same, if deemed advisable. " ' <br /> <br />Park and Recreation Foundation; No report Commissioner <br /> <br />Tornell absent on vacation. <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />Tree Planting, El Camino (Whipple to Brewster); Pasco Balzarini reports <br />progress and expects work to be completed this fall.' <br /> <br />Farm Hills ,Subdivision ( additional land): Corroni ssioner Schutz reported <br />no progress and requested that this item be dropped from the agenda. <br />He will maintain .contact wi t~ the Planning Commission in regard to . <br />this matter. <br /> <br />+ - <br /> <br />Stulsaft Park Master Plan; Detailed master plan presented before commis- <br />sion by fi~ of Murphy and Hastings. Hanley and Schutz that Stulsaft Park master "plan b e approved <br />as presented and that a~letter be addressed to the city council <br />recommending adoption and re questing that a date be set for a joint <br />Council and Park and Recreation Commission~study meeting.
