'S. C.'. by Commissioner Brennan and Beals that the minutes of <br />January 8 meeting be approved as mailed. . . <br /> <br />... <br /> <br /> <br />Item I .. Stulsaft Park. Commissioner Gold reported that bids would <br />be open tomorrow for the comfort station of phase No.1. Due to~the <br />weather it will be the first or second week of April before it is <br />completed. The black topping of the parking lot is all that remains <br />for the "completion of phase 1. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />There has been no ~swer to the letter ~itten to tM City EngiMer <br />regarding Se~ice Road from P~kda1e W~ imo ~uls~t. Mot1on~s <br />made that Chairwoman put a phne call into this office to find out <br />status of this subject. ~ ~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br /> <br />Item II - Yacht Harbor. Commissioner Hanley ~eported that there <br />was an emergency meeting in the City Manager's office on January 23. <br />It was discussed that an amendment to the, ordinance be made to <br />~increase the rates. A representative from Boat Craft was pr~sent <br />at this meeting. His request was to lease a portion of the harbor <br />for thåir tie ups. ,It was discussed that they would have to present <br />, a full written report as to what they want and .it .is to be presented <br />to the City Engineer and City Manager for study. ~ <br /> <br />Item III - ~d and B~ Road. Letter from City Mmager was read <br />which stated that more ..detailed information would have to beobbtà1ned <br />in order to trade this property. Coøissi~er Gold repo~ed he <br />spoke with the owners of adjacent land, and they would be willing <br />to make trade provided they were not held liable for any improve- <br />ments that would undoubtedly come up ,in the future. They' would <br />want a written agreement to this effect from the City Council. <br /> <br />V' <br /> <br />After discussion i twas decided by the Commission that the land at <br />2nd and Bay Road be develop"ed into a Archery range and utilized as <br />a play area for children when not being used by archers. Connnissioner <br />Gold moved that a letter be written to the City Manager asking that <br />the letter previously written for request of trade Bå~disregarded <br />and also, be ~aken off agenda. <br /> <br />Item IV - Condition of signs. Chairwoman Tornell.read a letter <br />fr~ City M~ager which re~ested that a letter from RecreMion <br />Deap~tment be written with more detail regarding the recommendation <br />for more signs.
