MSR: j p: 6/23/77 Q8.Q.IN~~C~ ~ Q. 1 712 ORIGINAL JUL 18 1977 ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.27.2 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO RE- IMBURSEMENT OF CERTAIN EXPENSES INCURRED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF DUTIES SECTION 1. THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 2.27.2 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: Advance for, or reimbursement "Section 2.27.2. of expenses of a member of the council necessarily and properly to be incurred or incurred in the performance of official duties shall be made at the following rates: " (a) "(b) SECTION 2. its adoption. (1) For each day during which the use of overnight living accommodations is required, the actual cost of such accommodations plus a per diem allow- ance in the amount of fifty dollars ($50.00) per day for living expenses exclusive of the actual cost of such accommodations. "(2) For each day during which the use of overnight living accommodations is not required, actual living expenses (including but not necessarily limited to, meals, transportation at destination, incidentals, and actual living expenses incurred in travel to and from destina- tion but excluding registration fees and the transportation expenses provided for in subsection (b) hereof). Actual transportation expenses to and from destination not to exceed a maximum computed at fifteen cents ($0.15) per mile for miles actually traveled outside the county by carrier service or any privately-owned con- veyance; provided, however, that for travel to and from destination in excess of three hundred (300) miles said maximum shall not exceed actual air coach fare when such fare is less than the amount computed at the aforementioned rate."
