DES:yc:4/9/76 4/12/7( ---------- N O. 1670 ORIGI NA[ APR 19 1976 0 R DIN A N C E ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 14.31 AND 14.32 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO RATES OF CHARGE FOR REFUSE COLLECTION SERVICE THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 14.31 of Article III of Chapter 14 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follo\.'ls: "Section 14.31 (a) The schedule of charges for sanitary inspection and refuse collection services shall be based upon the type and size of the receptacle in which the refuse is deposited (except for mechanically compacted refuse) and the frequency of service as follows: " (1) For weekly collection from receptacles not emptied by mechanical means: CAPACITY OF RECEP- TACLES, IN GALLONS MONTHLY RATE FOR EACH RECEPTACLE 1 - 20 21 - 40 41 - 60 $ 2.08 2.69 3.30 " (2) "The charge for collections from each container, the capacity of which exceeds 60 gallons, shall be $3.30 plus an amount equal to 5.3ø times the number of gallons of such receptacle in excess of 60. For weekly collections from bin-type receptacles used with rear-end vehicular loader equipment: CAPACITY OF RECEPTA- CLES, IN CUBIC YARDS MONTHLY RATE FOR EACH RECEPTACLE 1 2 $17.89 33.93 " (3) For collections from bin-type receptacles used with front-end vehicular loader equipment the monthly rate of charge, based upon fFequency of collections per week, number of receptacles, and for a standard three cubic yard receptacle is hereby established as follows: I 670
