<br />. <br /> <br />CGM:dp: 12/10/75 <br /> <br />ORD.!.NANCE <br /> <br />N o.l1ì.5 9 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JMv 5 1976 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 2.26 TO THE CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO ESTABLISHMENT OF A <br />SEMI-MONTHLY PAY PERIOD: REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1652 <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 1652 entitled "An Ordinance Adding <br /> <br />Section 2.26 to the Code of the City of Redwood city, Relating <br /> <br />to Establishment of a Biweekly pay Period," is hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 2. Section 2.26 is hereby added to the Code of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City, to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 2.26 Pursuant to Section 59 of the Charter <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City, a semi-monthly period is hereby <br /> <br />prescribed for the allowance and payment of warrants for <br /> <br />salaries of officers and employees. <br /> <br />Such semi-monthly <br /> <br />pay period shall be that interval of time during which <br /> <br />officers and employees perform services on behalf of the <br /> <br />City for which they are later compensated." <br /> <br />SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be effective 30 days after <br /> <br />its adoption: provided, however, the provisions hereof shall be <br /> <br />operative retroactively to and including January 1, 1976. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />1659 <br />
