<br />CGM:dp:7/16/75 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />ORD.!.NANCE <br /> <br />N o. 1 64 1 <br /> <br />AUG 4 <br /> <br />1975 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING ARTICLE III TO CHAPTER 3 OF <br />THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO <br />THE POSTING OF PRICES OF MOTOR VEHICLE FUELS <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />Article III is hereby added to Chapter 3 of <br /> <br />the Code of the City of Redwood city to read as follows: <br /> <br />Article III. <br />Motor Vehicle Fuel Price Sign Advertising <br /> <br />Every person, firm, partnership, <br /> <br />"Section 3.160. <br /> <br />association, trustee, receiver, corporation, or assignee <br /> <br />for the benefit of creditors, who owns, operates, manages, <br /> <br />leases, or rents a place of business which abuts or is <br /> <br />adjacent to any street or highway and at which gasoline or <br /> <br />other motor vehicle fuel is sold, offered for sale, or <br /> <br />otherwise dispensed to the public, shall post or display <br /> <br />and maintain at said place of business a sign or similar <br /> <br />advertising medium clearly visible from each abutting or <br /> <br />adjacent street or highway which indicates or shows the <br />actual price per gallon, including all taxes, at which each <br /> <br />grade of gasoline or other motor vehicle fuel is currently <br /> <br />being sold, offered for sale, or otherwise dispensed at said <br /> <br />place of business. <br /> <br />No person, firm, partnership, association, <br /> <br />"Section 3.161. <br /> <br />trustee,receiver, corporation, or assignee for the benefit of <br /> <br />creditors, who owns, operates, manages, leases or rents a <br /> <br />place of business at which gasoline or other motor vehicle <br /> <br />fuel is sold to the public shall advertise by means of any <br /> <br />sign or similar advertising medium, the price of any grade of <br /> <br />I 641 <br />
