MSR:wg:6/20/75 ORD.!.NANCE N o.l6.:L8 ORIGINAL JUL 7 1915 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 33 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1621 ESTABLISHING A SALARY AND WAGE PLAN FOR CERTAIN DESIG- NATED EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 33 of Ordinance No. 1621, entitled "An Ordinance Establishing A Salary And Wage plan For certain Designated Employees of the city of Redwood citY7 and Repealing Ordinance No. 1557", adopted January 27, 1975, is hereby amended to read as follows: Employees appointed to positions in the "Section 33. classifications designated in Section 1 through 27 hereof and who are required to work an eight (8) hour shift commencing between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. shall receive additional compensation in the amount of twenty-five (25Ç) per hour7 provided, however, that such additional compensation shall not be included in computations for overtime or other pay differentials, except in the following instances: (1 ) if such employee has worked an eight (8) hour shift commencing between the aforementioned hours for a period of at least thirty (30) working days immediately preceding a paid holiday or the commencement of a vacation or the commencement of a paid sick leave, said employee shall be compensated at his established rate of pay plus the above mentioned twenty-five (25Ç) per hour for the period of such holiday or leave7 and (2) if such employee works an eight hour shift commencing between the aforementioned hours and said shift falls upon a declared holiday as set forth in the Personnel Rules and Regulations 163 S
