_ CGM:dp:3/13/79 <br />RESGLUTION No. 8255 ORIGINALAPR 21979 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />FOR CONSULTING SERVICES (FIRE EVALUATION SERVICES) <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires certain fire <br />evaluation consulting services in connection with the Fire Depart- <br />ment organization and the possible consolidation of the Fire <br />Department of the City of Redwood City with the Fire Department of <br />the City of San Carlos and the Fire Agency of the Belmont Fire <br />Protection District; and <br />WHEREAS, Ernst & Ernst has represented to the City of Redwood <br />City that it is qualified to perform the aforesaid consulting services; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and Ernst & Ernst desire to <br />enter into an agreement for Ernst & Ernst to furnish the City with <br />the aforesaid consulting services; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement between the City of Redwood City and <br />Ernst & Ernst, entitled "Agreement for Consulting Services" (form <br />dated 3/13/79), copies of which are presently on file in the office <br />of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made, is hereby <br />approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the <br />same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />g�5r� <br />
