CGM:yc:3/12/79 <br />ORIGINAL <br />APR 2 1979 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8253 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES IN <br />CONNECTION WITH PHASE I IMPROVEMENTS IN CANYON PARK <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires expert landscaping <br />services in connection with Phase I Improvements in Canyon Park; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, SINGER AND HODGES has represented to the City that <br />it is uniquely qualified and experienced to perform all of the <br />services referred to aforesaid; and <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an agreement <br />by and between the City of Redwood City and Singer and Hodges, for <br />the performance of the aforesaid landscape architectural services, <br />and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br />contract and authorize its execution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated 3/12/79), <br />by and between the City of Redwood City and Singer and Hodges, a <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br />to which copy reference is made for the full terms and conditions <br />thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby <br />authorized and directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf <br />of the City of Redwood City. <br />8253 <br />
