R E S O L U T 1 0 N N O. P- 2378 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT FOR <br />THE POSITION OF PORT MANAGER AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXECUTION OF THE AGREEMENT. <br />WHEREAS, as a result of the retirement of Michael J. Giari as Port <br />Manager, the Port of Redwood City desires to appoint a new Port Manager. <br />WHEREAS, this Board of Port Commissioners (this "Board") has selected <br />Kristine A. Zortman to be the new Port Manager. <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board an agreement <br />entitled, "Employment Agreement — Executive Director" for this Board's review <br />and approval. <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That certain agreement entitled, "Employment Agreement — Executive <br />Director" by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California, by and through its Board of Port <br />Commissioners ("Port of Redwood City") and <br />Kristine A. Zortman <br />, (the "Agreement") a copy of <br />which Agreement is on file in the office of the Interim Port Manager, to <br />which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is <br />hereby approved, and the Interim Port Manager and the Port Executive <br />Secretary are hereby authorized and directed to execute, and to attest <br />ME <br />Res 259 <br />06/08/18 <br />
