Page 1 of 2 <br />ATTY/RESO.0088/PC RESO 127 FINGER <br />REV: 09-11-18 PR <br />RESOLUTION NO. 18-15 <br /> <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY RECOMMENDING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL <br />DESIGNATE 127 FINGER AVENUE A HISTORIC LANDMARK AND <br />APPROVE A HISTORIC PRESERVATION AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 18, 2018, Anne Park (Property Owner/Applicant) applied for <br />a Mills Act Contract (Project) at 127 Finger Avenue (APN: 052-063-080) in Redwood <br />City, California; and <br />WHEREAS, on August 9, 2018, the Historic Resources Advisory Committee <br />(HRAC) held a duly noticed public hearing in accordance with all applicable <br />requirements of the State Planning and Zoning Law and the Redwood City Municipal <br />Code to consider the Project; and <br />WHEREAS, the HRAC has determined that the property meets Criterion C for <br />designation as an historic landmark according to the historic designation criteria <br />established by the Redwood City Historic Preservation Ordinance (Chapter 40 of the <br />Redwood City Code) and recommended by a vote of 5-0 local landmark designation; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the HRAC recommended that a Historic Preservation Agreement <br />(Mills Act Contract) be approved for 127 Finger Avenue by a vote of 4-1 (Committee <br />Member Rolandelli dissenting); and <br />WHEREAS, on August 29, 2018, a public hearing notice of the Planning <br />Commission hearing was published in the San Mateo Daily Journal and sent to the <br />Property Owner; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on September 18, 2018, the Planning Commission held a duly <br />noticed public hearing in accordable with all applicable requirements of the State <br />Planning and Zoning Law, the Redwood City Municipal Code, and the Zoning <br />Ordinance to consider the Project; and <br /> <br />WHERAS , the residence and property located at 127 Finger Avenue, Redwood <br />City, California does meet the historic designation criteria established by the Redwood <br />City Historic Preservation Ordinance as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
