NAN C E N O.~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1591, <br />ESTABLISHING SALARIES FOR CERTAIN DESIGNATED EMPLOYEES <br />OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND RELATING TO POSITIONS <br />FILLED BY COUNCIL APPOINTMENT <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 1591, entitled <br /> <br />"OrdinanCE; Establishing Salaries for Certain Designated <br /> <br />Employees of the city of Redwood City: Repealing Ordinance <br /> <br />No. 1556", adopted February 4, 1974, is hereby amended to <br /> <br />read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 5. For the positions filled by Council <br /> <br />appointment, monthly salary rates and/or monthly salary <br /> <br />ranges are hereby established as hereinafter set forth: <br /> <br />(a) The city Clerk shall receive a monthly salary <br /> <br />rate established within a range of $1,065 to <br /> <br />$1,449. <br /> <br />(b) The City Treasurer-Collector shall receive a <br /> <br />monthly salary rate established within a range <br /> <br />of $1,118 to $1,521. <br /> <br />(c) The city controller (holding consolidated offices <br /> <br />of city Auditor and city Assessor) shall receive <br /> <br />a monthly salary rate established within a <br /> <br />range of $1,600 to $2,176. <br /> <br />(d) The city Attorney shall receive a monthly salary <br /> <br />rate established within a range of $1,753 to <br /> <br />$2,385. <br /> <br />(e) The city Manager shall receive a monthly salary <br /> <br />of $3,000. <br /> <br />"Monthly salary rates for council appointees shall be estab- <br /> <br />1ished and may be adjusted within the foregoing designated salary <br /> <br />1 6J 0 <br />
