<br />DES:yc:5/17/74 <br /> <br />:'n <br /> <br />o R DIN A N C E <br /> <br />N O. 1599 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 38.1, 38.5, 38.10, 38.12, <br />38.13, NJD 38.20 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF WATER SERVICE <br />AREAS, METER SERVICE CHARGES, CONNECTION FEES, <br />CONNECTION FEE DEPOSITS FOR ANNEXATIONS, PROHIBITED <br />CONNECTIONS, AND THE WATER FUND, RESPECTIVELY <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 38.1 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City lS hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />For the purposes of this Chapter 38, <br /> <br />"Section 38.1 <br /> <br />the following water service areas are established, and all <br /> <br />premises served by the water system owned or operated by the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City shall be located in such areas: <br /> <br />"(a) Area 1: All premises located within the City of <br />Redwood City and not located within Areas 3, 5 or <br />6 shall be included in Area 1. <br /> <br />"(b) Area 2: All premises located outside the City <br />of Redwood City and not located within Areas 4, <br />5, or 6, shall be included in Area 2. <br /> <br />"(c) Area 3: All premises located within Redwood City <br />General Improvement District No. 1-64, a general <br />improvement district duly organized and existing <br />under the Redwood City General Improvement Dis- <br />trict Ordinance (being Ordinance No. 1128, <br />adopted March 9, 1964, as amended), and all <br />territory annexed to said District shall be <br />included in Area 3. <br /> <br />II (d) Area 4: All premises located outside the City <br />of Redwood City and requiring extra pumping <br />service to provide water service thereto shall <br />be included within Area 4. <br /> <br />II (e) Area 5: All premises located within or outside <br />the City of Redwood City which were formerly <br />included in the service area of any water company <br />or system acquired in bulk by the City shall be <br />included in Area 5. <br /> <br />" (f) <br /> <br />Area 6: <br />the City <br />property <br />included <br /> <br />All premises located within or outsioe <br />of Redwood City on publicly-owned <br />and used as a college campus shall be <br />in Area 6." <br /> <br />SECTION 2.
