<br />// <br /> <br />u " <br />. . <br /> <br />OR\G\NAL <br /> <br />',}'1~ <br />,,-y'l-, 'li <br /> <br />o R DIN A N C E <br />--------- <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />J5"~~ <br /> <br />ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION\ 2.41.2 TO THE CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ESTABLISHING A FEDERAL REVENUE <br />SHARING FUNDi AND, .APPRO~RIATING $2,645 FROM SAID FUND <br />TO PROVIDE FOR PURCHASE ~F SUPPLIES AND SERVICES FOR <br />'PROBE II COMMUNITY PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the State and Local Fiscal Assistance Act of <br /> <br />1972 (Title I of P.L. 92-512) provides for allocations of <br /> <br />federal funds to local governments (Federal Revenue Sharing);. <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, fiscal procedures promulgated by the Secretary <br /> <br />of the Treasury pursuant to said Act require separate accounting <br /> <br />of funds received by local governments, and this Council has <br /> <br />determined to establish a IlFederal Revenue Sharing Fund" for <br /> <br />such accounting; and <br /> <br />. <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> <br />to appropriate from said fund the sum of $2,645 to provide for <br /> <br />the administration of the "PROBE" Community Center program, <br /> <br />for use in the promotion and improvement of neighborhood and <br /> <br />community educational and economic opportuhities of benefit <br /> <br />to, and in furtherance of, the public order, health, welfare <br /> <br />and morals in the City of Redwood City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />~IE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 2.41.2 is hereby added to the Code <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City, to read as follows: <br /> <br />"SECTION 2.41.2 <br /> <br />A special fund to be known as <br /> <br />'Federal Revenue Sharing Fund' is hereby established. . <br /> <br />All moneys received from the United States Government pur- <br /> <br />suant to the State and Local Fiscal Assistance Act of <br /> <br />1972 (Title I of P.L. 92-512) shall be deposited in said <br /> <br />fund, and shall be expended solely for the purposes <br /> <br />,..' <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />. &"( . <br />
