<br />DES.ek 5/18/71 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />JUN 7 'n <br /> <br />ORD.!.NANCE <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1493 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 49.5 TO ORDINANCE NO. 1483, <br />THE SALARY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />RELATING TO POSITION OF CITY MANAGER PRO TEMPORE <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 49.5 is hereby added to Ordinance <br /> <br />No. 1483, entitled "An Ordinance Establishing Salaries for <br /> <br />Employees of the City of Redwood City, and, repealing <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 1445," adopted February 22, 1971, to read as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />"SECTION 49.5. The provisions of Section 49 of <br /> <br />this ordinance to the contrary notwithstanding, the <br /> <br />person appointed to the position of City Manager pro <br /> <br />tempore pursuant to resolution of the Council of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City, duly adopted, shall receive, <br /> <br />in addition to the regular compensation otherwise <br /> <br />provided for herein for the position to which such <br /> <br />person is regularly appointed, the sum of one hundred <br /> <br />dollars ($100) per week, during such period as said <br /> <br />person fills the position of City Manager pro tempore." <br /> <br />SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be effective 30 days <br /> <br />after its adoption; provided, however, that the provisions <br /> <br />hereof shall be operative retroactively to and including <br /> <br />May 10, 1971. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />T <br />
