<br />WHK:yc:l/26/67 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE <br />--------- <br /> <br />N o. /.29'1 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 29.4 OF CHAPTER 29 OF <br />THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO <br />MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF WALKWAYS <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 29.4 of Chapter 29 of the Code of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />When any portion of any walkway is out <br /> <br />"Section 29.4 <br /> <br />of repair or in condition to endanger persons or property, <br /> <br />or in condition to interfere with the public convenience <br /> <br />in the use thereof, except as to those conditions created <br /> <br />upon, under or along such walkway by the City, the engineer, <br /> <br />in the manner provided in this division, shall notify the <br /> <br />owner or person in possession of the property abutting or <br /> <br />fronting on that portion of such walkway so out of repair, <br /> <br />to repair.
