<br />DAS:sh 1/24/86 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~ Q. 1 0 12 9 <br /> <br />ORfGINAL <br />JAN 2 7 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS AND BIDDING <br />DOCUMENTS FOR WEED ABATEMENT BY SPRAYING AND DISKING <br />1985-86 AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Redwood City Code Chapter 14 provides for a <br /> <br />procedure for the abatement of undesirable vegetation, rubbish <br /> <br />and rank growth in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order to accomplish said weed abatement program <br /> <br />wi thin the City, it is necessary and desirable that certain <br /> <br />spraying and disking work be performed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, specifications and bidding documents for spraying <br /> <br />and disking have been prepared by the Director of Public Works; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Those certain specifications entitled "Specifications <br /> <br />and General Requirements to Bidders <br /> <br />Weed Eradication by <br /> <br />Spraying and Disking - 1985-86 Redwood City, California" a copy <br /> <br />of which specifications is presently on file in the office of the <br /> <br />Department of Public Works, to which copy reference is hereby <br /> <br />made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />advertise for bids for the performance of weed eradication in <br /> <br />accordance with the abovementioned specifications. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />10129 <br />
