<br />DCB:sh <br />DCB:sh <br /> <br />9/19/85 <br />9/20/85R <br /> <br />ORiGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10015 <br /> <br />SEP 2 3 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR THE RED MORTON <br />COMMUNITY PARK TENNIS COURT REPAIRS; DIRECTING RETURN <br />OF SECURITY DEPOSITS; AND DIRECTING STAFF TO REDESIGN <br />AND READVERTISE THE PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9972, adopted August 12, <br /> <br />1985, the City Clerk called for bids for the reconstruction of <br /> <br />Red Morton Community Park Tennis Courts; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said improvement <br /> <br />project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bids received all exceeded the estimated cost <br /> <br />of reconstruction of the tennis courts; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Any and all bids requested pursuant to Resolution No. <br /> <br />9972, adopted August 12, 1985, are rejected due to bids exceeding <br /> <br />estimated costs for reconstruction of Red Morton Community Park <br /> <br />Tennis Courts. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />return to all unsuccessful bidders all security guaranteeing <br /> <br />execution of the contract upon award. <br /> <br />3. The Director of Public Works is hereby directed to <br /> <br />redesign and readvertise the reconstruction of Red Morton <br /> <br />Community Park Tennis Courts. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />1\>{)15 <br />
