2/23/98 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13287 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE REGIONAL <br /> TRAFFIC SIGNALIZATION/OPERATION PROGRAM FOR THE <br /> DOWN-TOWN TRAFFIC SIGNAL INTERCONNECT PROJECT; <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br /> WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13252, adopted November 17, <br />1997, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Regional Traffic <br />Signalization/Operation Program for the Downtown Traffic Signal Interconnect <br />Project, Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, six bids were received for the <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, S.G. Barber Construction, Inc. of San Carlos, California is the <br />lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />award said bid to S. G.Barber Construction, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of S. G. Barber Construction, Inc. in the amount of Two <br /> Hundred Ninety One Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty Eight and No/100 Dollars <br /> ($291,768), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated December 15, <br /> 1997, for the Regional Traffic Signalization/Operation Program for the Downtown <br /> Traffic Signal Interconnect Project, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
