- ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> for <br /> <br /> DAYBREAK SHELTER FOR HOMELESS YOUTH <br /> (YOUTH AND FAMILY ASSISTANCE) <br /> <br />/ //~A~S AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~//~ day of <br /> ~ , 1998, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal <br /> ! <br /> <br /> corporation of the State of California, (City), and YOUTH AND FAMILY <br /> <br /> ASSISTANCE, a California nonprofit corporation (Contractor); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts a shelter for homeless youth who reside in the <br /> City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the <br /> Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1998, and ending <br /> June 30, 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br /> the sum of Twenty Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($20,000.00) from its Community <br /> Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Twenty <br /> Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($20,000.00) for exclusive use by Contractor during the <br /> <br /> Agmt-YFA <br /> PS 98-010 <br /> 8/14/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
