<br />C~M:djg-c 1/24/83 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9301 <br /> <br />FEB 7 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PORTION OF PUBLIC <br />STREET (TACOMA WAY) IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF <br />DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE <br />OF CALIFORNIA; SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING <br />ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE <br />PROPOSED VACATION; AND ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE <br />OF SUCH PROPOSED VACATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a portion of a public street (Tacoma Way) in the <br /> <br />vicinity of Industrial Way and "B" Street is not needed for <br /> <br />present or prospective public use purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends to <br /> <br />vacate said portion of a public street pursuant to the provisions <br /> <br />of Part 3 of Division 9 (commencing with Section 8300) of the <br /> <br />Streets and Highways Code; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate <br /> <br />a portion of a public street in the vicinity of Industrial Way <br /> <br />and "B" Street as hereinafter described, and elects to proceed <br /> <br />with such vacation pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of <br /> <br />Division 9 (commencing with Section 8300) of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code. <br /> <br />2. The portion of a public street to be vacated is as <br /> <br />indicated on the plat attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br /> <br />9301 <br />
