<br />CGM:mf 12/28/82 <br />ORIGlf"~AL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N o. 9 285 <br /> <br />JAN 3 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR WEED ABATEMENT BY SPRAYING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9270, adopted November 22, <br /> <br />1982, the City Clerk called for bids for the letting of a contract for <br /> <br />the weed abatement by spraying within fiscal year 1982-83; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution, the City Clerk called for <br /> <br />bids for the abatement of weeds by spraying; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bay Pest Control Corp., San Mateo, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to award said contract to Bay Pest Control Corp.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Bay Pest Control, Corp., in the total amount of <br /> <br />Seven Thousand Eight Hundred Forty and No/100 Dollars ($7,840.00), <br /> <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated December 21, 1982, <br /> <br />for the performance of weed abatement by spraying in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, California, in accordance with the specifications <br /> <br />approved by Resolution No. 9270, is hereby accepted. Any <br /> <br />irregularities or informalities that may be contained in said bid are <br /> <br />hereby waived. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter <br /> <br />into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that certain <br /> <br />agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated 12/28/82) between the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City and Bay Pest Control Corp., for performance of said <br /> <br />9285 <br />
