-- 0 R I G I N A L 2/10/97 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13001 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE CITY CENTER <br /> PARKING STRUCTURE REPAIRS; AND AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br />the City Center Parking Structure Repairs in the City of Redwood City, Califomia; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, five bids were received for the <br />performance of said work and filed with the Department of Community <br />Development, Engineering and Construction Division; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Marathon Coatings Corporation, dba Webco-Pacific of Santa <br />Clare, California is the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and <br />desire of this Council to award said bid to Marathon Coatings Corporation, dba <br />Webco-Pacific; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Marathon Coatings Corporation, dba Webco-Pacific, in the <br />estimated amount of Three and 10/100 Dollars ($3.10) per linear foot which <br />amount shall not exceed Seventeen Thousand Fifty and No/100 Dollars <br />($17,050.00), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated <br />December 30, 1996, for the City Center Parking Structure Repairs, is hereby <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />Reso-130 <br />G:~hared~Reclwoo~Councll <br />DES:dJk <br />01/28/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
