0 R I G I N A L 1/6/97 RESOLUTION NO. 12984 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA NO.2, TAX ALLOCATION REFUNDING BONDS, SERIES 1997 AND CERTAIN RELATED MATTERS WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City (the "Agency") has authorized, by resolution duly adopted on this date (the "Agency Resolution"), the issuance of its Redevelopment Project Area No. 2, Tax Allocation Refunding Bonds, Series 1997 (the "Bonds") in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $15,000,000 to refund certain outstanding obligations described below which financed redevelopment projects in furtherance of the Agency's Redevelopment Project; and WHEREAS, the obligations to be refunded with the Bonds consist of loan payments to be made by the Agency pursuant to a Loan Agreement, dated as of July 15, 1991, between the Agency and the City of Redwood City Public Financing Authority, which loan payments secure the outstanding $14,530,000 City of Redwood City Public Financing Authority 1991 Local Agency Revenue Bonds, Series B; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redwood City as follows: Section 1. The issuance of the Bonds by the Agency is hereby approved. Section 2. The officers of the City are hereby authorized and directed, jointly and severally, to do any and all things and execute and deliver any and all documents, certificates and other instruments which they may deem necessary or advisable in order to consummate the issuance, sale and delivery of the Bonds by the Agency, and to execute and deliver such certificates and other documents they may deem appropriate and otherwise to carry out, give effect to and comply with the terms and intent of this
