I r- <br />. -" " I. <br />'<.,./ U <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />PROCLAIMING JULY 16-22 PORT OF REDWOOD CITY WEEK <br />AND APPROVAL THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City approved a Resolution proclaiming July <br />16-22 to be Port of Redwood City Week; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City's Resolution recognizes the Port of <br />Redwood City's contributions to the residents of the City of Redwood City through its <br />recreational facilities, its commercial and maritime ventures, and the utilization of its <br />waterways; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City's Resolution recognizes the Port of <br />Redwood City for adding a unique and special character to the community; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City's proclamation encourages the Citizens <br />of the City of Redwood City to visit the Port of Redwood City and join in the celebration <br />of the Port of Redwood City's 70th Anniversary. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT <br />COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF RED\VOOD CITY: <br /> <br />1. This Board acknowledges the City of Redwood City's Resolution, a copy of <br />said Resolution being attached to this Resolution, proclaiming July 16-22 Port of <br />Redwood City Week. <br /> <br />2. This Board extends its thanks and gratitude to the City Council of the City of <br />Redwood City for proclaiming July 16-22 Port of Redwood City Week. <br /> <br />3.
