RESOLUTION NO. 19-09 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />AND A MITIGATION MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM FOR <br />THE 1180 MAIN STREET PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, Premia Capital (the Applicant) submitted an application for an <br />Architectural Permit (AP2017-091), Conditional Use Permit (UP2018-006), Tentative Map <br />(TM2018-006), and Affordable Housing Plan to construct a three-story, 109,375 square <br />foot office building (the Project) located at 1180 Main Street & 1190 Main Street which is <br />within the Mixed -Use LiveMork Zoning District; and <br />WHEREAS, a Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) has been prepared to assess <br />potential environmental impacts that could result from implementation of the Project in <br />accordance with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (Public <br />Resources Section 2100 et seq.; hereafter, "CEQA") and the Guidelines for <br />implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act (Title 14, section 15000 et <br />seq. of the California Code of Regulations; hereafter, the "CEQA Guidelines"); and <br />WHEREAS, the MND concluded that the Project, with the proposed mitigation <br />measures contained in the MND and associated Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting <br />Program (MMRP) prepared for the City, would not have a significant adverse effect on the <br />environment; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with CEQA Guidelines Sections 15072 and 15073, a <br />Notice of Intent to adopt the MND was filed with the County Clerk, sent to the State Office <br />of Planning and Research, and advertised in the newspaper to inform the public of the <br />30 -day public review and comment period; and <br />WHEREAS, the MND was published for public review and comment beginning on <br />April 26, 2019 and ending May 27, 2019; and <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />ATTY/RESOS/2019/RESO.0080 PC RESO 1180 MAIN CEQA <br />REV: 07-25-19 PR <br />
