0 R I G I N A L 2~12/96 <br /> <br /> R E S 0 L U T I 0 N N O. 12697 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AGENTS FOR APPLICATION FOR <br /> FEDERAL AND STATE DISASTER RELIEF AND EMERGENCY <br /> FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The following designated persons holding the offices or <br />positions of employment with the City of Redwood City, <br />California, designated hereinafter are, and each of them is, <br />hereby authorized to execute for and on behalf of the City of <br />Redwood City, California, a municipal corporation of the State of <br />California established by Charter pursuant to the Constitution of <br />the State of California, application or applications, and to file <br />the same with the Office of Emergency Services of the State of <br />California for the purpose of obtaining certain federal financial <br />assistance under Public Law 93-288 as amended by the Robert T. <br />Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act of 1988, or <br />state financial assistance under the Natural Disaster Assistance <br />Act: <br /> <br /> Name Title <br /> <br /> Ed Everett City Manager <br /> Peter Ingram Public Works Services Director <br /> Brian Ponty Financial Services Director <br /> <br /> 2. This Council hereby authorizes the foregoing persons to <br />provide to the State Office of Emergency Services such assurances <br />and agreements as may be required for all matters pertaining to <br />the abovementioned state disaster assistance. <br /> <br /> <br />
