The City Council must find the prezoning to be in the public <br />interest and adopt the following findings: (1) the proposed prezoning is <br />consistent with the General Plan land use designation of Low Density <br />Residential; (2) that the proposed annexation will eliminate an isolated <br />unincorporated "pocket" of land; (3) that once developed according to the <br />anticipated zoning, the proposed land use pattern will be compatible to the <br />adjoining land uses; and, (4) that the right-of-way improvements associated with <br />the proposed annexation will improve the existing infrastructure. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AMENDING ARTICLE 60, ZONING MAP NO. 12 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1130, THE <br />REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED, TO PREZONE THE <br />PROPERTIES AT 343,357,367, AND 375 ALAMEDA DE LAS PULGAS ROAD, AS <br />FURTHER DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE, FROM THE EXISTING COUNTY <br />ZONING DESIGNATION OF "RS-1/S7" (RESIDENTIAL SINGLE-FAMILY WITH S7 <br />
