01/28/2008 ORIGINAL RESOLUTION NO. 14838 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING THE PRESERVE AT REDWOOD SHORES PRECISE PLAN WITH RECOMMENDED CHANGES (THE "PRECISE PLAN"); ADOPTING AND INCORPORATING THE MITIGATION MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM INTO THE PRECISE PLAN; AND MAKING THE REQUIRED CEQA FINDINGS WHEREAS, on December 2, 2002, the City Council of the City of Redwood City (the "City Council") adopted Ordinance No. 1130-315, to permit the creation of Planned Community Districts as an additional tool to assist the City with its future planning activities; and WHEREAS, in compliance with California Environmental Quality Act regulations, on December 18, 2007, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City (the "Commission") adopted a Final Environmental Impact Report for the Preserve at Redwood Shores ("Area H") Precise Plan (the "Precise Plan"); and WHEREAS, on December 18, 2007, the Commission voted to recommend that the City Council approve the Precise Plan with recommended changes and the associated Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program; and WHEREAS, on December 18,2007, the Commission voted to recommend to the City Council that the real property (Assessor's Parcel No. 095-460-180) currently zoned as TP (Tidal Plain) Zoning District be rezoned to P (Planned Community) Zoning District; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the recommendation of the Commission as to the Precise Plan, and has considered evidence received at a duly noticed public hearing related thereto. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.
