MINUTE ORDER <br /> BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING <br /> <br /> January 5, 1998 <br /> 98-002 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: January 8, 1998 <br /> <br />ATTENTION: City Manager <br /> City Attorney <br /> Finance Director <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Board of Equalization, Establish assessed value of Shapell <br /> Industries of Northern California, Assessor's Parcel 095-222- <br /> 260 (510) <br /> <br />Meeting of the Board of Equalization of the City of Redwood City on January 5, 1998. <br /> <br />Present: Directors Buchan, Claire, Hartnett, Ira, Ruskin and Chairperson <br /> Howard <br /> <br />Absent: Director Leipzig <br /> <br />The following motion was made, caw~ed and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br /> M_]S: CLAIRE/BUCItAN TO GRANT THE APPEAL AT $16 PER SQUARE <br /> FOOT. <br /> <br /> Director Hartnett said, based upon the testimony of Mr. Warren, he didn't <br /> believe there was a basis for $16 per square foot. <br /> <br /> Vice Chairperson Ruskin suggested a substitute motion of $18 per square foot. <br /> SUBSTITUTE MOTION: <br /> <br /> M/S: CLAIRE/BUCItAN TO GRANT THE APPEAL AT $18 PER SQUARE <br /> FOOT. <br /> <br /> CARRIED BY UNANIMOUS ROLL CALL VOTE OF DIRECTORS PRESENT. <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
