- ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> for <br /> <br /> SAN CARLOS ADULT DAY SUPPORT CENTER <br /> <br /> (CATHOLIC CHARITIES OF THE ARCHDIOCESE OF SAN FRANCISCO) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~0~-~'~ day of <br /> <br />2002, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese <br />of San Francisco, a California nonprofit organization ("Contractor") (collectively the <br />"Parties"); <br /> <br /> WlTNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor provides adult day support services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the program described in the attached Exhibit B (Contract Objectives), which is <br />incorporated herein by this reference (the "Program"), for residents of City during the <br />fiscal year commencing July 1,2002, and ending June 30, 2003; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed Contractor's request; finds that providing <br />the financial assistance will benefit Redwood City and its citizens; and, desires to <br />allocate to Contractor the sum of Seven Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars ($7,500) from <br />its Community Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum of <br />Seventy Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars ($7,500) for exclusive use by Contractor <br />during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2002, and ending June 30, 2003, solely for <br />the purposes described in Paragraph 2. <br /> <br />Service.agr <br />10/8/0 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
