RESOLUTION FiEQUIRING THE ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood Ci ty, did, on the 2nd day of March, 1942, pass and adOI)t Resolution Declaring Nuisance No. 1942-1, in which resolution it was declared that noxious or dangerous weeds were grov,ring upon all the sidewalks, streets, avenues, roads, boulevards and highways in said City, and upon all the lots and property in said City, which weeds are of a kind which bear seeds of a wingy or downy nature and will attain such large growth as to become a fire men- ace when dry, and that said weeds constitute a public nuisance; and WHEREAS, after the passage of said Resolution Declaring Nuisance No. 1942-1, the Street Superintendent of the City of Redwood City duly and regularly caused to be posted notices of the passage of said resolution in time, form, manner and number as required by law; and' WHEHEAS, at the time fixed in said notices and in said resolution when objections to the removal of such weeds would be heard and given consideration by the Council of the City of Redwood City, no objections of any kind were made against the removal of said 'weeds, and said Council now having acquired jurisdiction thereof: THEREF'OHE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that the Superintendent of Streets of said City be and he is hereby ordered and directed to abate the nuisance existing as specified in said Resolution Declaring Nuisance No. 1942-1, and as provided by law. Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day of April, 1942, by the follOWing vote: Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing resolution: Councilmen L.C.Christensen , B.A. Fletchp.T' , F.D.
