<br />",,;~"'C <br /> <br />....~-;..... <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FiEQUIRING THE ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood Ci ty, did, on the <br />2nd day of March, 1942, pass and adOI)t Resolution Declaring Nuisance No. <br />1942-1, in which resolution it was declared that noxious or dangerous <br />weeds were grov,ring upon all the sidewalks, streets, avenues, roads, <br />boulevards and highways in said City, and upon all the lots and property <br />in said City, which weeds are of a kind which bear seeds of a wingy or <br />downy nature and will attain such large growth as to become a fire men- <br />ace when dry, and that said weeds constitute a public nuisance; and <br />WHEREAS, after the passage of said Resolution Declaring Nuisance <br />No. 1942-1, the Street Superintendent of the City of Redwood City duly <br />and regularly caused to be posted notices of the passage of said <br />resolution in time, form, manner and number as required by law; and' <br />WHEHEAS, at the time fixed in said notices and in said resolution <br />when objections to the removal of such weeds would be heard and given <br />consideration by the Council of the City of Redwood City, no objections <br />of any kind were made against the removal of said 'weeds, and said Council <br />now having acquired jurisdiction thereof: <br />THEREF'OHE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood <br />City that the Superintendent of Streets of said City be and he is hereby <br />ordered and directed to abate the nuisance existing as specified in said <br />Resolution Declaring Nuisance No. 1942-1, and as provided by law. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at <br />a regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day of April, 1942, by the <br />follOWing vote: <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing resolution: <br />Councilmen L.C.Christensen , B.A. Fletchp.T' , F.D.
