<br />,~1~ , <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />RESOLVED that it is the sense of the Council of the <br />Ci ty of Redwood C1 ty that all proprietors o,f- premises'-lic-ensed <br />for the sale of liquors on the premises should close at not <br />later than one (1) o'clock A. M. every Sunday and not later <br />than twelve (12) o'clock P. M. every day, except Saturday, un- <br />less the proprietors thereof desire to remain open thereafter <br />for the service of meals without the privilege of sale of <br />spirituous liquors to patrons for consumption on the premises; <br />FURTHER RESOLVE-n that a copy of this resolution, <br />certified by the Clerk of this Council, be forwarded to each <br />liquor licensee in this city with a request that,all such <br />licensees endeavor to secure as nearly unanimous correspondence <br />to this resolution as may be possible, and that such closing <br />hour be made effective within one (1) week from the date hereof. <br />FURTHER RESOLVED that copies hereof, duly certified, <br />be also sent to Honorable George Reilly, member of the state <br />Board of Equalization and to Earl Mc Cann, Local Enforcement <br />Officer. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of <br />Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on the 16th <br />day of November, 1942, by the following vote: <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing <br />resolution: <br /> <br />Councilmen: ANDERSON <br />FLETCHER , HILTON , L.
