<br />'),- <br /> <br />-..-.--.:--..............-..~~:t" <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />WHEREAS Ordinance No. 486, adopted by the City <br /> <br />Council of the City of Redwood City on the 4th day of January, <br /> <br />1943, provide!,s in section 1.85 thereo'f for the designation by <br /> <br />resolution or motion of this Council for indicating by the use <br /> <br />of colored paint upon curbs the parking regulations prescribed <br /> <br />by section 472 of the Vehicle Code of this state; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS Ordinance No. 448, edopted by this Council <br /> <br />on the 18th day of November, 1940, and amended by Ordinance <br /> <br />No. 484, adopted by this Council on the 21st day of December, <br /> <br />1942, provided in section 3 of said Ordinance No. 448 for a <br /> <br />parking limit of fifteen minutes of continuous time atcer- <br /> <br />tain places there specifically indicated~ <br /> <br />BE 1'11 RESOLVEID by said City Council that the Police <br /> <br />Department of this city be, and it is hereby directed to in- <br /> <br />dicate by the use of colored paint upon curbs at the following <br /> <br />locations in this city, the applicability of the provisions <br /> <br />of said section 472 of the Vehicle Code: <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />The curb at the following places shall be painted <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />1. RED on curb in front of each fire hydrant .and <br />for a distance of ten (10) fee~on each side of the center line <br /> <br />thereof. (Section 587, Vehicle Code) <br /> <br />2. RED on curb on each side of any public or private <br /> <br />driveway or garage, appropriate to allow trucks to enter safely, <br />not to exceed twenty (20) feet. (Section 586 (e), Vehicle Code) <br /> <br />3. RED on curb at end of each pedestrian crosswalk. <br /> <br />(Section 586 (b), Vehicle Code) <br /> <br />4a.
