MARTIN has a franchise or certificate <br />for the operation of a passenger bus line between the City <br />of Redwood City and the City o~ Palo Alto via Middlefield <br />Road, and a separate franchise or certificate for the opera- <br />tion of a passenger bus line within the City of Redwood City <br />and to the City o~ San Carlos, and has applied for a consoli- <br />dation of said franchises or certificates; and <br />WHEREAS, such a consolidation will enable said <br />R. F. MARTIN to render improved service for the people of <br />this city, by issuing transfers from one local bus line to <br />another, and otherwise; <br />RESOLVED that this City Council endorse such ap. <br />plication of said R. F.
