RES 0 L UTI 0 N NO. 174 RESOLUTION OF CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY FOR THE WORK AND IMPROVE11ENrrS DESCRIBED IN RESOLU- TION NO. 166.. WHEREAS Resoluti0n No. 166 of this Council of the City of Redwood City was adopted on the 19th day of February, 1945, pursuant to Ordinance No. 515 of this city, and notice of the time and place for hearing protest~ against said work and improvements as described in said Resolution No. 166 has be<<n given for the time and in the mann~r required by said Ordinance: No. 515, and this 5th day of March, 1945, at 8:00 0' clock p. m. at this Council's Chambers in the City Hall in this city were fixed as the time and place where protes=ts< against said work and improvements w.tmld':be heard and no written protest against said work and imrpove- ment~ has been filed with this Councilor the Clerk thereof; RESOLVED that public oonveniencEf: and necess:1ty require the work and improvement& da~cribed in said Resolu- tion No. 166, and that the Special. Ass8S,sment Investiga'-. tion" Limitation and Majority Protes:t Act of 1931., as now' embodied in the streets and Highways Code of this st~t&, shalI_ not apply to said work and improvement$, and that this Caunci] has jurisdiction to adopt Resolutions of Inten- tion for said work and improvements. The above and ~Grego1ng resolution was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on the 5th day of March, 194~~ by the following vote: Ayes and in f~vor of the pasaage; and adoption of the foregoing resolution: Councilmen: Anderson, Britsohgi, Fletcher, Granger, I,Tc1:Jul"ty- and Hilton. Noe~ and against the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution: Councilmen: None -1-
