<br />u <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />- <br />NO. /7J <br /> <br />ESTABLISHING WAGES OF lVIElVIBERS: OF SURVEY <br />PARTIES <br /> <br />RESOLVED by the~ Council of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City that wages be established as herein stated for members <br /> <br />of any survey party that may be necessary or convenient in <br /> <br />the discretion of the City Manager in making surveys for any <br /> <br />public works projects or any public improvements in this city: <br /> <br />Assistant Engineer or <br />Instrumentman, - - <br /> <br />$15.00 a day, <br /> <br />Draftsman or Engineering <br />Assistant, - - <br /> <br />12.00'a day, <br /> <br />Rodman or Chainman, - - <br /> <br />12.00 a day;: <br /> <br />FURTHER RESOLVED that in addition to the compensa- <br />tion herein provided the City Manager be and he is hereby <br /> <br />authorized to pay for Workmen's Compensation Insurance and <br /> <br />arrange to withhold income taxes, in accordance with the <br /> <br />National Income Tax Law; to pay transportation costs of <br /> <br />members of a survey party, and to ma.ke all other arrangements <br /> <br />necessar:r or appropl'iate in his discl"etion in connection <br /> <br />with any surveyor the employment of a survey party for any <br /> <br />public works or improvement. <br /> <br />The above, and foregoing resolution was pass~ed <br /> <br />and adopted by the Council of the CitJr of Redwood City at a <br /> <br />regula.r meeting thereof held on the <br /> <br />19th day of March <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />1945, by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayefl and in favor of the passa.ge and adoption of' <br /> <br />the foregoing resolution: <br />Councilmen: H.
