", SWC:wb 8/15/80 RES 0 L UTI 0 N ~ 2. ~ 66 1 ORIGINAL AUG 18 1980 RESOLUTION CONFIRMING REPORT OF SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS ON WEED ABATEMENT; OVERRULING PROTESTS THERETO; AND AUTHORIZING ASSESSMENT OF THE COST OF ABATEMENT AGAINST THE PARTICULAR PARCELS CONCERNED WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 8450, adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City on December 3, 1979, the City Super- intendent of Streets of Redwood City was ordered to abate the nuisance of weeds, dirt, rubbish and rank growths in the City of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, said Superintendent of Streets has submitted to this Council of the City of Redwood City for confirmation an itemized report of the cost of the abatement of weeds, dirt, rubbish and rank growths from or abutting each separate parcel of land from which weeds, dirt, rubbish or rank growths were removed, and a list of the expenses proposed to be assessed against said parcels for said abatement; and WHEREAS, as appears from affidavits on file, the require- ments for posting, publishing and mailing said reports or portions thereof and the time and place of the hearing thereon set forth in Section 14.48 of Article IV, Chapter 14 of the Code of the City of Redwood City have been complied with in the form and manner specified by law; and WHEREAS, at said hearing, opportunity was given for any and all objections raised by any property owner liable to be assessed for the work of abating weeds, dirt, rubbish and rank growths to be heard by this Council; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That all objections to the itemized report and proposed assessment list of the Superintendent of Streets of the cost of 8661
