ATTY/RESO.0016/CC RESO APPROPRIATION AMENDMENT TO THE FY 2024-2025 GENERAL FUND BUDGET (SEIU) <br />REV: 02-27-25 MI <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 16285 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY APPROVING AN APPROPRIATION AMENDMENT TO THE FY <br />2024-2025 GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO INCREASE EXPENDITURES <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $767,000 FOR INCREASED SALARY AND <br />BENEFIT COSTS RELATED TO THE SERVICE EMPLOYEES’ <br />INTERNATIONAL UNION LOCAL 521 SUCCESSOR MEMORANDUM <br />OF UNDERSTANDING THAT BEGINS IN FY 2024-25 <br />WHEREAS, during the course of a fiscal year, the City Council may take actions <br />that change or modify the City’s existing and approved budgets; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement has been reached with the Service Employees’ <br />International Union (SEIU) for the period of February 1, 2025 through January 23, 2028 <br />that has financial impacts on the FY 2024-25 budget. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1.The following stated amounts, are hereby appropriated for specific <br />purposes: <br />Summary of Recommended Budget Changes <br />By Fund Type <br />Fund Expenditures <br />General Fund $767,000 <br />TOTAL $767,000 <br />2.This Council does hereby establish the appropriation revisions for Fiscal <br />Year 2024-2025. <br />3.
