ROGOFF TO,ALLOW <br />EIGHT FOOT (8') SIDE YARD ON LOT 2, <br />BLOCK 16, OAK KNOLL NANOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Conunission of Redwood City has sub- <br /> <br /> <br />mitted the application of N. ROGOFF for a variance together with <br /> <br />its recommendation thereon, <br /> <br />NO VI , r:[lHEREFORE" THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY. OF REDvJOOD CITY HEREBY <br /> <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Said Council finds the following conditions exist: <br /> <br />(a) rl'hat there are exceptional or extraordinary <br />circumstances which apply to the land, building <br />or use referred to in the application, which <br />circumstances or conditions do not generally <br />apply to lands, buildings, or uses in the same <br />district. <br /> <br />(b) 1~lat the granting of the application is <br />necessary for the preservation and enjoyment <br />of substantial property rights of the <br />petitioner. <br /> <br />(c) rrha t the granting of such application will <br />not materially affect adversely neighboring <br />property or the public welfare or the health <br />or safety of persons residing or working in <br />the neighborhood. <br /> <br />2. Said Council hereby grants a variance to N. ROGOFF to <br />allow an eight foot (Sf) side yard on Lot 2, Block 16, Oak Knoll <br /> <br />Manor, subject to the condition that all construction shall be in <br /> <br />accordance with the plans heretofore approved by the Council of <br />Redwood City; subject to the further condition that all other <br />construction shall comply strictly with the Building Code of the <br /> <br />C1 ty of RedvJood C1 ty, except insofar as the requirements of said <br /> <br />Code are waived with regard to the side yard variance hereinbefore <br /> <br />granted, and provided that construction shall be maintained as <br /> <br />delineated on the aforementioned plans. <br />
