MINUTE ORDER <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br /> January 29, 1996 <br /> <br /> MO. 96-023 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: February 2, 1996 <br /> <br />Attention: City Manager <br /> City Attorney <br /> Council <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Continue Public Hearing on Pacific Shore <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on January 29, 1996 <br /> <br />Present: Councilmembers Buchan, Claire, Howard, La Berge, Leipzig, Ruskin <br /> and Mayor Hartnett <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />The following motion was made and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br /> At 10:57 p.m., MIS: CLAIRE/LA BERGE TO CONTINUE THE MEETING TO <br /> 11:15 P.M. <br /> <br /> Councilman Claire stated he believed it would be an injustice not to hear ail <br /> of the people who submitted speaker's cards and sat through the meeting <br /> waiting to speak at this meeting. He explained the unanimous rule to extend <br /> past 11:00 p.m., and asked his colleagues, that in deference to the good citizens <br /> who came to speak to extend the meeting to 11:15 p.m. <br /> <br /> Councilman Leipzig stated that it was clear the Council was not going to <br /> reach a consensus and the matter would be brought to the February 12 Council <br /> meeting. He asked if the public hearing was to be continued open or closed. <br /> <br /> <br />
