V'\J~_ J , 201Q, by and between the City of Redwood City, a <br />charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), and A & <br />F ENGINEERING, INC. ("Contractor") <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />A. City requires Contractor's services. <br /> <br />B. Contractor has the necessary experience in providing professional services <br />and advice. <br /> <br />C. Selection of Contractor is expected to achieve the desired results in an <br />expedited fashion. <br /> <br />D. Contractor has submitted a proposal to City and has affirmed its willingness <br />and ability to perform such work. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual <br />covenants contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. Scope of Work and Time for Performance. Contractor shall perform <br />everything required to be performed, shall provide and furnish all of the <br />labor, equipment, materials, and tools to perform, within thirty (30) calendar <br />days after the NOTICE TO PROCEED, the following work: <br /> <br />VETERANS SENIOR CENTER PARKING LOT <br />LED LIGHT STANDARD PROJECT <br /> <br />in strict accordance with the Plans, Contract Documents and Specifications <br />pertaining thereto as described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein, signed by the Manager, Engineering and Construction <br />of Redwood City, which Documents are incorporated herein and made a <br />part of this Agreement as if herein fully set forth. <br /> <br />2. Compensation. City shall pay to Contractor, as full consideration for the <br />faithful performance by Contractor of the aforementioned work, the amount <br />of Twelve thousand thirty six and 40/100 Dollars ($12,036.40) computed in <br />accordance with Contractor's accepted Proposal dated April 30, 2010 which <br />accepted Proposal is incorporated herein by reference thereto as if herein <br />fully set forth. <br />
