- - 7/27/98 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2148 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 20.44, 20.45 AND 20.45.1 <br /> OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY TO REVISE <br /> THE PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMIT ON A PORTION OF FERNSIDE <br /> STREET AND TO REFLECT THE STREET NAME CHANGE TO <br /> MARINE PARKWAY, RESPECTIVELY <br /> <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. Section 20.44 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 20.44. It is hereby determined upon the basis of an <br /> engineering and traffic survey that a speed greater than the speed <br /> permitted by State law would facilitate the orderly movement of vehicular <br /> traffic and would be reasonable and safe upon the following streets, and it <br /> is hereby declared that the prima facie speed limit shall be as hereinafter <br /> set forth on those streets or portions thereof herein designated when <br /> signs are erected giving notice thereof: <br /> <br /> Name of Street Declared Prima <br /> Potions Affected Facie Speed Limit <br /> <br /> A.
