<br />.~ <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />;. <br /> <br />..~ <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />DES.ek 12/19/68 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />0,. n' /,n! !\!Af <br />nl\.:"!!l~ ... <br /> <br />RE.e.OLUT1.0N <br /> <br />NO.' ~-f 7? <br /> <br />JAN 20 069 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ABANDONING PORTIONS OF CHfu~TER, CHEW,AND <br />MANZANITA STREETS, IN ACCORDANCE \~ITH PART 3 OF <br />DIVISION 9,STREETS AND HIGffi~~YS CODE OF Tflli STATE <br />OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 (commencing <br />at ~8300) of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the <br /> <br />state of California, the Council of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />by its Resolution No. 5831, adopted November 18, 1968, declared <br /> <br />its intention to vacate the hereinafter d~scribed portions of <br /> <br />Charter, Chew and Manzanita Streets; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code, noti~e of intention to vacate and abandon the <br /> <br />described portions of the above mentioned streets has been pub- <br /> <br />lished and posted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken; <br /> <br />NOH, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLO~~S: <br /> <br />1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds that the <br /> <br />hereinafter described portions of Charter, Chew and Manzanita <br /> <br />streets are unnecessary for present or prospective public <br /> <br />purposes' and hereby orders said port ions of Charter, Chew and <br /> <br />,Manzanita Streets vacated subject to a reservation of easements <br /> <br />for sanitary sewer, public utility and wire clearance purposes <br /> <br />as hereinafter, described. <br /> <br />2. The portions of Charter, Chew and Manzanita Streets <br /> <br />vacated, together with the easements excepted and reserved <br /> <br />the.refrom, 'are described as follo\vs: <br />
