<br />~ <br /> <br />DES. ek 12/9/bJ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />JAti '6 'ga <br /> <br />G <br /> <br />r <br /> <br />REE.OLUT1.0N <br /> <br />N O. st'1(J <br /> <br />i7 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING PURCHASE <br />OF CERTAIN HEREIN DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY AT <br />911 VALOTA ROAD, REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA; AND, <br />AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE <br />OF INTENTION OF SAID ACQUIS1TION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has secured an option <br /> <br />to.purchase certain real property located at 911 Valota Road, <br /> <br />Redwood City, California, for a total purchase price of <br /> <br />$20,500.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been recommended to this Council that <br /> <br />the acquisition of said property is in the best public interest <br /> <br />and that it is necessary and desirable for public park and <br /> <br />other municipal purposes; ftnd <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the purchase price of said real property exceeds <br /> <br />the sum of $2,000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> <br />to approve the ptirchase of said property at the total purchase <br /> <br />price of $20,500.00; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />l. That the acquisition of the hereinafter described real <br /> <br />property is necessary and desirable for municipal purposes. <br /> <br />2. That-the City Manager is authorized to do all acts <br /> <br />necessary to acquire the hereinafter qescribed real property <br /> <br />for a total purchase price of $20,500.00 on behalf of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City. <br /> <br />3. That the property to be acquired is that certain real <br /> <br />~'- <br /> <br />property in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, <br /> <br />State of California, more particularly described as follows: <br />
